Easterseals West Kentucky’s Adult Day Training (ADT) program empowers adults with disabilities to build skills, independence, and confidence. Through structured activities, community outings, and social engagement, participants have opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The goal of Adult Day Training is to increase independence while providing the tools and resources that support personal development. This service is designed to provide individuals with opportunities to enhance personal skills needed in daily living, education, and socialization. 

To qualify for Adult Day Training, the Michelle P. Waiver is required.  

Adult Day Training Includes:

  • Daily lessons, activities, and games
  • Art class
  • Cooking class
  • Community outings & overnight trips
  • Daily exercise
  • Healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack
  • Medication assistance or monitoring
